On June 17, CFPI will be hosting “International Solidarity Now: A gathering for a more just Canadian foreign policy.”
If you are part of a group that would like your work highlighted at our upcoming gathering, "International Solidarity Now!" you can apply here or email info@foreignpolicy.ca
The main goal of this event is to help connect and amplify the work of groups working towards a progressive foreign policy.
What does participation entail?
Participation means having one or more representative from your organization be present at the virtual gathering.
We would highlight your group and share information about how to get involved with your work on our social media networks and website. We will also be encouraging an exchange of information and ideas through the chat and Facebook live during the event, which will also be broadcast to the public.
Any promotion you are able to do for this gathering would of course be hugely appreciated.
Ideally your group would also submit a video of of 1-2 minutes about what you do and how it contributes to a more just Canadian foreign policy. (A video submission would be greatly appreciated, but is not required for participation.)
We’ll be using edited versions of some of the videos during the event, and then full versions of them on social media over the weeks to come. These would also be posted to a resource page on our site. This is an example video with the type of presentation we are looking for:
How to submit your video?
You can simply upload your video to this dropbox file: https://www.dropbox.com/request/6xbmYL6BFawHxzSNyF9X?oref=e
(or alternatively you can send the video via we-transfer to info@foreignpolicy.ca)
